The quick answer is “No. Not officially” but its a bit more complicated than that. Crawley may well qualify to be a Fairtrade town but so far it has not had that official accreditation. There is now a concerted effort to get that accreditation

Jayne and I were supposed to be helping out with the Fairtrade Fortnight by dishing out free teas and coffees in Crawley town centre today. When we turned up for our shift there were still 5 or 6 other volunteers who were in no rush to go home
