Tonight was the local ward Labour party’s meeting, which usually ends up with the older members reminiscing all over the place and 15 minutes of business taking 90 minutes to get through. We had some good ideas for some local campaigns to help us build up a relationship with the 80% of the population here who do not vote.
I got down there early and spent an hour going over the accounts and getting the computer system updated. Thinking about it, we are a bit vulnerable there as I am pretty sure the computer doesn’t get backed up. If anything happened to it we would be stuffed. I think I might donate my old Zip drive, or put it on a long-term loan, and use that to keep copies of all the data.
