Well… suddenly the TV has started showing all the right colours: no more red cast over everything. Why does it do that when the new one arrives in 7 days (but who’s counting?)
However, it does that from time to time, so it really is on the way out, and the new one is a lot bigger and has progressive scan and component video input and 100Hz refresh and a flat tube…
So. Seven days to decide what to use to try the new screen out. Perhaps Apocalypse Now? Or maybe Belleville Rendezvous? Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon? I bet Gattacca would look good, if only I had that on DVD. But lets face it, its probably going to be Sky Sports…
