What is going on? I go away for a couple of hours to install Firefox and watch the Arsenal game and come back to find 23 spam comments caught by Akismet and another 13 which slipped through to be moderated.
I suppose its good that WordPress was suspicious enough to flag them for moderation, but I can’t figure out why Akismet didn’t just zap them. They looked exactly the same. Same gmail addresses, same hyperlinks for pharmaceutical products, same asinine comments.

There is always going to be some idiot who takes it all seriously. No names - you know who you are. Not that anyone reads all this stuff at the bottom anyway, not when there is more exciting stuff to do like watching paint dry...
