A bit premature, as our two local weeklies don’t come out until tomorrow, but I can’t see them beating this one from the Brighton Argus website today:
Restaurant boss shocked at size of marker pens packaging
Must be a slow week in Brighton.

This is not the best blog in the world; its a tribute | Hosted by AN Hosting of 223 West Jackson Street, Suite 1014, Chicago, IL 60606
Anything I write here is my own opinion and is not endorsed by my employers, the Labour party (nationally or locally), my family, the cat, the other cat, West Ham United FC or anyone else - and especially not AN Hosting. Its just a personal blog, in other words: Promoted and published by me on behalf of me (yes its all me, me, me. Vanity publishing at its worst) although I'm not particularly promoting anything, just describing and generally rambling for my own entertainment, but the whole Internet thing is such a grey area you have to be on the safe side don't you? There is always going to be some idiot who takes it all seriously. No names - you know who you are. Not that anyone reads all this stuff at the bottom anyway, not when there is more exciting stuff to do like watching paint dry...
...and the same goes for anything the sister writes here, not that she is writing much: come on Jane - pull your finger out!

LOL! What a strange world. How could someone seriously send them out like that without thinking it might be a bit OTT???
I like the last quote…
“The next day I received two chairs in the post and they were just wrapped in bubble wrap.”

We once got a consignment of display materials which contained the usual 4 large boxes, each containing two or three posters which could all easily have fitted in one box. The icing on the cake, however, was the box with nothing in it at all. To add insult to injury we are charged per box, as far as I am aware, on our profit & loss account for display materials…..

I was hoping someone would follow the link and pick up on that last quote.
I have had the odd delivery from Amazon with a CD in a box big enough for a CD player but I never really considered it worth phoning the news desk and asking them to hold the front page.
