One of the few things I like about Christmas is hearing Fairytale of New York all the time, so I’m glad the scumbags and maggots of the BBC have decided against censoring it.
I can see where they were coming from, but they were taking no account of context and besides, the song is a national treasure now.

Funnily enough, this was the same Radio 1 that decided that Chris Moyles could use the word ‘gay’ as an insult because it was now a common usage for anything a bit rubbish rather than just for homosexuals…..
