Happy 23rd?

September 23rd, 2009 · Posted by Skuds in Life · No Comments · Life

The Wikipedia page on wedding anniversaries looks like a popular one for vandalism at the moment.  Somebody was looking at it at work today and I noticed, in the section on traditional and modern gifts, that the traditionl gift in the UK for a 23rd wedding anniversary is “dirty protest”. I’m sure it will be fixed soon, but for now it is mildly amusing.  Looking at the previous edits there were suggestions that the gift for a 20th anniversary is “bigscreen tv” and that for a 13th anniversary you should give either chrysanthemums or prostitutes.
