Spongebob Squarepants

I have heard of Spongebob Squarepants but I don’t think I have ever seen it. Well, maybe a little bit while some young relative was watching it perhaps, but nothing I can remember. I have certainly not seen the film, but tonight I chanced upon the soundtrack album on Spotify. Brilliant stuff. Great tracks from Flaming Lips, Motorhead and Wilco plus some interesting electronica. The more cartoon-y tracks are probably better heard in context, but overall it is a much better album than I would have expected.
