On Saturday I really should have gone up to London to meet up with fellow Labour bloggers (plus a token Tory or two). A combination of a general lack of motivation at the moment, a lot of family activity in the two weeks before christmas, a shortage of funds courtesy of Christmas and an overwhelming reluctance to travel to London on a day off, after commuting there all week led to me staying at home.
Also I had forgotten about it until the last minute.
It would have enjoyed meeting all the other Andrews and Pauls again – and regret missing the opportunity to meet up with Lisa, Neil and others I haven’t met before.
New Years resolutions are crap generally, but if I make one this year it will be to make an effort to go to the next meet which is in, or near, London or Brighton.

Would have been nice to see you as well Andrew. Next year would be good too!
