Is that story about the 11-year-old girl who was hospitalised for heroin use going to change anything?
It would be great to think that it might force some changes of attitudes. Anyone selling a dose of heroin to a young girl like that for a mere tenner’s profit is surely beneath contempt? Actually the profit must be a lot less if that was the street price. It really is just another form of child abuse, damaging the girl as much as if he had mugged and beaten her for the money.
I just wish I was more shocked and surprised by it, but it is all too believable.
