Well everything is back up and running again. I guess I could have had it all up sooner if this was higher in my priorities.
One thing I won’t do is apologise for not posting anything at all this week, or for the site being down. That always seems a bit self-important to me. (What I will do is apologise to those bloggers whose opinions and writing I value and appreciate who do apologise after any sort of absence… my distaste for the practise probably says more about me than about the act itself or others who do it.)
What a week though! The Trident vote, the House of Lords turkeys deciding to not vote for Christmas, and the prospect of the first person to lead an England team out onto the new Wembley pitch being Nigel Reo-Coker. All of which would have provoked some comments from me at the time, but I reckon its a bit late now.
Regular readers with a keen attention to detail will notice that I have dropped the West Ham theme for now and reverted to bog-standard WordPress. I am trying to decide whether to tart up the old theme or switch to another one and start claret-and-blueing it from scratch or even go for a totally new look.
Hoorah!
Mind you, wait a while and you can go to a claret-and-blue in Division Two (now called the ‘Championship’) theme, eh?
