I think I will be the only person in my department who is not working from home tomorrow. I think I will do my bit for team solidarity and integrating properly with my colleagues by turning up at the office in my pyjamas so I can work the same way as everybody else.

Not that anyone reads all this stuff at the bottom anyway, not when there is more exciting stuff to do like watching paint dry...

Rob was duty manager one night recently and it was a bad night with many phone calls (1am, 3am, conference call from 5am until 7am….). I came down when the alarm went off and found him sat downstairs wearing nothing but a bluetooth headset and a laptop. He wouldn’t let me take a photo…..
I don’t miss all those middle-of-the-night on-call conversations that I used to get.
