I was out in Horsham town centre this morning doing some anti-BNP campaigning and met these lovely people from Greening Horsham. Their objective is to get as many residents of Horsham to make commitments to make small changes in their behaviour, and display a card in their window to show that they are doing it. […]

Blogger in draft

I spent more hours that I like to think about playing with Blogger in draft, which is the beta aspect of Google’s Blogger platform, to explore the possibilities of their new template design feature. It certainly is an improvement on the basic Blogger platform’s layout tools.
Busy week so far

Is it only Tuesday? The week seems old already, because ther has been a lot going on. Yesterday I went out to a gathering of lefties at an informal meeting of the local UAF, but with the news about Laura’s retirement being fresh there was a lot of gossip and speculation before we got down […]

Crawley and Horsham towns are only a few miles apart, the two parliamentary constituencies rub right against each other, but as far as representation goes they might as well be on different planets.  Look no further than today’s activity in parliament to see the difference. Laura Moffatt (Labour. Crawley) asked two questions in a debate, […]
Covered in Horsham

Jayne and I hit the town in Horsham tonight: an Italian meal, followed by a walk down to the Queens Head to see Covered playing. We did that because Damian (AKA Pootergeek) sings with the band. He keeps inviting me to come along to shows, but previously they have all been down on the coast.
Campaigning on affordable housing

I was out in Horsham’s Carfax again this afternoon with colleagues from Horsham Labour Party to try and persuade shoppers to sign our petition about affordable housing.
