The day after I gave up with PayPal, the website I wanted to donate to in the first place started taking credit cards. So it all worked out in the end…
Still with money, I had a meeting today at the Vicarage in Southgate to discuss the finances of the Broadfield community centre, and work out what to put in the grant application form which needs to be filled in by next week. Really I wanted to get the vicar, who chairs the Finance sub-committee for the centre to give me a steer on what assumptions to make for the budget so I can do that and thus work out how big a grant to ask for. Its bound to be more than last year, so we also had to discuss what justification to put in the forms.
Since then I have been wallowing in nostalgia. I just watched two episodes of Bands Reunited on VH-1 (ABC and Haircut 100) and now have ‘We Salute You 1992’ on in the background. Not that the new monster TV can be truly in the background – it dominates the room!
