Another day in Clerkenwell today. As usual, I went to Waterloo first, checked my mail, had some breakfast (well… I didn’t know if I would get a chance to have lunch) and then walked to Clerkenwell. And, as usual, although it was cold when I left home at 7, and still pretty nippy when I arrived at work at 8, by the time I had been walking for 15 minutes in my big, heavy coat, I was getting quite warm and had to shed the coat, and by the time I got to the office I had worked up a bit of a sweat.
I endured a meeting that lasted all day, but couldn’t quite manage to stay until the end as I developed an excuciating toothache and just had to go and scrounge a painkiller from someone.
