There is a bit of a local storm on Portland about posters for the new Wallace & Gromit film, of all things. Apparently the word “rabbit” is the problem.
People who market films (or name products) try to be aware of things which might cause offence in another place or culture, even if only for sound commercial reasons, but I bet none of them ever anticipated having to censor the word “rabbit”.
We’ll put Portland at the top of the list of places Chas & Dave should avoid the next time they are touring I think…
