Online shopping

Everyone is saying how shopping online is increasing but yesterday I had actual proof.

A parcel of goodies I ordered from the Internet was delivered while we were all out, so the Parcelforce person left the usual delivery card to say where to collect it, or who to call for a re-delivery. Except it was not the usual delivery card – it was a photocopy.

The Post Office have had even more parcels to deliver than they anticipated and ran out of ‘while you were out’ cards to they had to photocopy them.

Or maybe someone just forgot to place the order… if so, I bet his next appraisal is going to be fun.

Jayne can’t understand why I have done so much of my Christmas shopping online. Maybe its just a bloke thing. Its a gross generalisation, but blokes do tend to prefer talking to machines than to people. Its why we will not stop to ask for directions, but will spend £400 on a GPS device to give us directions instead.
