I was trying something a bit unusual today.
My monitor at work is a nice big 19″ TFT screen and I was trying to take a photograph of the desk behind it so I could use it as wallpaper for Windows.
The idea was that I could minimise all my applications and it would look like a transparent monitor like in science fiction films such as Minority Interest.
I failed miserably. Partly down to the angle of the monitor, but mainly down to actually being a bit busy and not having to time to play around with such things. Maybe I will have a go at home, and then take a photo of the result.
Have you seen the Flickr Group? I tried it last year, and it was so much harder than I expected!
I might as well give up before I have started. Some of the photos there are just amazing.
