I think that Parcelnet must be hot topic at the moment. I have noticed that a lot of visitors are coming here having searched for Parcelnet on Google and found this post.
To recap: a lot of people have seem to have had trouble with deliveries sent via Parcelnet, but something I ordered arrived quickly and efficiently.
I was wondering if this was just a fluke or something and had reason to order something else from Amazon the other day so that was my chance to find out. I ordered some new ink for my printer and a pair of headphones. Just like before I went for the free delivery instead of the Royal Mail 1st class option.
The bad news is that Amazon sent it by Royal Mail so I still have only a single experience of Parcelnet to judge from. The good news is that the parcel arrived today.
The order was placed Thursday night and the parcel arrived Saturday. With a service like that on the free delivery I can’t really see much incentive to ever pay for ‘express delivery’ as I can’t see how it could arrive much sooner than that.
