I’m already quite happy with the look of this site under WordPress, so this is a good time to thank the guru timelord and jo for their help, especially Jo. Having taken her advice I have ended up with an adaptation of the same theme she is using, and many of the same plugins.
I prefer to see it not as copying but as standing on the shoulders of giants, but as my knowledge increases and I start playing and tweaking more the whole thing will look more original. In the meantime, Jo seems to appreciate that immitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Just being grumpy that your colour scheme works so much better than mine!!
Well it is a scheme that is tried and tested, having graced the shirts of West Ham players since the dawn of time.
