What is it with Carlisle?
Newly promoted from the Conference to League Two, and they have run away with the title this year for automatic promotion to League One. All the attention is on Chelsea winning the premier league, Arsenal getting to the champions league final (and the Hammers getting to the FA cup final obviously) but what Carlisle have done is amazing.
Everyone had their eyes on Barnet as the team to do things in the league, but they are still not totally safe from relegation, while Carlisle crept in via the play-offs and have stormed the table. I was pleased with how Crawley did so well in their first Conference season, or how West Ham got to the premier via the play-offs then got to the top half and a cup final, but I take my hat off to Carlisle.
