If you go to the ever-helpful BBC web site and look at their election map you will find, if you click on Brighton & Hove, that:
There is no local election in this area. Not all local authorities hold elections at the same time. Choose another from the map or from the scrolling list on the right.
So far so good. No surprises there.
So why have I had someone visiting this site, from an IP address within the BBC, after doing a Google search for “brighton local election candidate 2006”?
I like that even better than the person asking “is there a local council election in Horsham on 5th May?”
Got me worried for a minute there!
