After the World Cup is over we have the new domestic football season to look forward to, and the fixture list has just been released.
I have just been looking at the fixtures for West Ham. After 6 weeks without any footie we start the season playing Charlton at home. I suppose it was inevitable that Iain Dowie’s first game in charge of Charlton would see him returning to Upton Park.
September 16th looks like being a good day – its the first time any of the big four teams meet and we have Chelsea v. Liverpool and Man Utd. v. Arsenal on the same day… until one of those games gets moved to Sunday for the benefit of Sky Sports of course.
Even better is that West Ham travel up to Old Trafford for the last game of the season in May. Again. Will we get the chance to deny United the title on the last day again?
