I can vaguely remember that someone, possibly Andrew Brown on his old blog, was quite obsessed with the red elastic bands which postmen leave lying around.
Well whoever it was (and sorry Andrew if it wasn’t you) they are not the only one. Proving that there really is a group for everything on Flickr there is now a group for photographs of the red elastic bands dropped by postmen, and it has 20 members already.
Make that 21. I couldn’t resist joining something so wonderfully specific and obscure.

My memory is fine for the inconsequential triva. Its the important things I have trouble with.

I started this group back in the summer and it has now swollen to 29 members, being about 25 members than I ever expected to get. Please feel free to spread the word. Bands in exotic locations are particularly welcome – I don’t think we have any from Wales yet.
