There has been plenty of comment about Gordon Brown’s teeth, mostly concentrating on whether it was right to go private instead of using an NHS dentist and whether the treatment was mainly medical or cosmetic.
I don’t think enough has been made of the most important little detail of the whole thing – he had root canal work without anaesthetic. Without anaesthetic!!
Hard as nails. Don’t mess with his clunking great iron fist and balls of steel!

It’s a nasty business indeed, root canal. When I had some done a few years back I was anaesthetised to the max and even had anaesthetic gel rubbed on my nerves for good measure. Still wailed like a child.

Yep – going through changes… lots of trial and error tweaking themes at the moment.
