Well nearly. While I was I Sainsbury’s this evening I picked up Casino Royale, released today, for £8.99. This is while places like Amazon and Play.com who are pushing it for £14.99.
I do wonder how they can manage to sell it 40% cheaper than even the Internet sites. Are they really getting such a better deal from the distributors? Do they have much lower margins? Or is it all loss-leading? Or maybe its a bit of each.
Whatever it is, a 60% reduction on the recommended price was too good to miss, but then as I have all the other James Bond films it was a bit of a foregone conclusion that I would be buying it.
