Still, the story does raise more questions than it answers. While the lady’s hair was long by most standards, it was only 32 inches which doesn’t take it beyond waist level. How bad does your strimmer technique have to be to get the business end within 32 inches of your head? Was the grass extremely long or was she very short and using a sawn-off strimmer?
Maybe she was lifting it up to strim the hedgerow rather than merely edge the lawn
