There was something like 22 goals in today’s 7 premier league games, with the Liverpool/Derby game and Fulham/Spurs games having 6 each, but the three most important goals were obviously those scored by West Ham at Reading.
The last time we went to the Madejski we got stuffed 6-0, so winning there this time was very satisfying, and it leaves us with three points more than Spurs with a game in hand so I get bragging rights in this Spurs-supporting household.
The two new players, Solano and Camara, were not in the squad for this one, so we have to wait for them to come on and get seriously injured…
I’d offer my condolences to Jayne and the other Spurs fans in your house, but I really enjoyed that overhead kick to steal a point.

That overhead kick was brilliant. Even better than the one Wigan scored against us the week before.
Probably a fluke – it would be hard enough to place the shot so perfectly when looking – but still brilliant.
