It was a cunning plan. I have a day off today, extending the weekend to a four-day break, and I thought I would beat the usual bank holiday rush by not taking all my accumulated rubbish to the tip over the weekend and doing it today. It must have been a good idea because hundreds of other people had the same idea… the queue for the tip this morning was back to Halfords.

There is always going to be some idiot who takes it all seriously. No names - you know who you are. Not that anyone reads all this stuff at the bottom anyway, not when there is more exciting stuff to do like watching paint dry...
