Can’t decide whether I was more surprised by the end of today’s Dr. Who or the start of Jay-Z’s set at Glastonbury, but I know which one gave me a bigger laugh.
Coming on stage singing Wonderwall was just hilarious, and the whole set was bloody marvelous. I still think that Busta Rhymes has the edge on technique, but Jay-Z puts on a good show. I was already prepared to enjoy it after seeing him interviewed by Jonathan Ross on Friday. He seems like a really nice bloke.

Wasn’t Amy awful. Did she forget the words? or can’t she sing anymore. It was like staring at a car crash. I did not want to but could not help myself!!

I can’t agree with you there. I thought it was more like a train crash… very watchable but for all the wrong reasons. I reckon she can only get away with it because she has a very good band behind her.

I would go and see a show with just those two guys she had dancing! I’m not sure if she turned up because she really didn’t want to let people down (which would be a certain amount of progess) or because performance is another addiction. I don’t think addicts get pleasure from their addictions necessarily – she certainly didn’t seem to. Poor cow.
