If there is an award for best press conference of the year, I think Joe Kinnear must be a shoe-in. For the real laughs you have to read through to the end where the Newcastle press officer steps in and tells teh everyone to forget the unequivocal slagging off that has gone on and it end up like this:
PO: Come on, let’s go football.
Journalist: What are your plans for training in the next three days? How’s the training going?
JK It’s going very well. No problems at all.
Journalist Enjoyed getting back in the swing of things?
JK Absolutely. I’ve loved every moment of it.
It all makes the Biden/Palin debate seem very tame.
