Chiquita is settling in well. It seems like she has been here for ever, though it can only really have been a few weeks. She has grown a lot in that time but is still very kittenish, by which I mean she is like a bundle of TNT with whiskers who has declared a jihad on soft furnishings. As mentioned before, we wonder if she really needs a little companion. Would it keep her occupied more, or would they just gang up, reaching a critical mass of cuteness and destructive capacity?  As it happens we have not heard about any spare cats recently but tonight the sister-in-law reckons she has a friend who’s cat is pregnant… If that is true I’m not sure I will be able to resist the lure of tiny playmate for Chiquita.

Best description of a kitten ever. I’m still staying clear of putting mself in the market for a new kitty, but am getting viacrious pleasure from reading about yours.
We are also putting off new catownerhoodness. My soft furnishings are not much to look at but they are in one piece!
We are thinking of a trip to the RSPCA in Halifax when we have come back from our holibobs in June – although a friend has already told us what we have to call the new cat…..
