It looks like the Tory knives are out for Clegg. Not directly of course, but by using the surrogate of the press with all its arms-length plausible deniability. The Mail and Sun are busy trying to dig up as much dirt as they can and the Telegraph is joining in with this story about political donations to Clegg being paid into the private account he uses to pay his mortgage with.
I only mention it, even though I disapprove of the Tory tactics, to point out that Clegg missed a golden opportunity to hoover up a few more votes by daring to try the Father Ted defence. Just by saying “the money was only resting in my account” he could have defused the whole thing, given us a bit of a laugh, and generally amused us.

The Tories are just embarrassing themselves….while drowning in their own hypocrisy.

Lord Parkinson (why is this adulterer a Lord?) Shot himself in the foot last night complaining that Clegg has only been a PR man…of course Cameron was a coal miner!!!!
