The Labour Party web site has a film clip of Tony Blair’s visit to Broadfield on it. Not too bad… Jayne can be seen in the background and Marie (centre manager) and Mick (Karate teacher) both get a soundbite in.
I spent this morning out canvassing in Broadfield for the elections, and a lot of the people I talked to were intending to vote for Labour, which always makes it more pleasurable. Laura and Colin were full of praise for Jayne’s work on Friday, and so was Laura’s mother. I managed to refrain from pointing out that she was the one who prevented her from being selected as the Broadfield candidate by voting for someone else! I must be getting diplomatic in my middle age.
I also picked up a stack of Labour newspapers to be delivered in this area, and found that our Charlie has his photo in the middle. It was a good picture too because, for a change, he was not pulling any faces. Its a shame that Chrystal’s picture didn’t get used too, but you can’t have everything.
