West Ham did the job last night and beat Ipswich in the play-off semi-finals, so now we are looking forward to another visit to Cardiff to try and get back in to the Premier league.
Bobby Zamora finally came good with two goals. I always knew he was better than his performances at Tottenham. Maybe next season he will get back to the sort of goalscoring he did when he was at Brighton. Now we just need Rebrov to turn in a few good performances and we can stop feeling so bad about letting Kanoute and Defoe go to Spurs – we are already getting our money’s worth from Etherington.
Fingers are well and truly crossed that next year we will be playing Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd instead of Watford, Wolves and Reading.
