Went out again this evening, for the third Wednesday running, and again found it very relaxing and encouraging.
There is no election looming, no pressure, and no rush. Its the political activists equivalent of low-impact aerobics, just a few people (unfortunately) doing a couple of roads for about an hour. There is time to talk properly on the doorstep.
Tonight was not as quite as good as before. We were in Torytown, in streets which have not been too well canvassed recently. In some cases there had been no contact for four years, so we encountered more Tories than we have been. But we still signed up one new member, so it was worth doing.
