Yesterday I was taking my normal train home, or rather my normal 3 trains home. On the last leg – 2 stops from Gatwick to Crawley – a female ticket collector (or maybe they are called Revenue Protection Officers now?) checked my ticket.
When I got off at Crawley I saw her again on the platform. She had hold of a teenager at least a foot taller than her by his lapels and was slamming him against the metal railings!
Are they allowed to do that?
