According to the sports section of the paper today, no team which has gained 7 or more points from their first 4 games has ever been relegated from the premier league.
West Ham had 7 points from their first 4 games.
Mind you, they always used to say that 44 points was enough to stay up and we got relegated with 45 (I think).
But things just keep getting better, with a 2-1 away win over Fulham putting us up in the top 4. Could we end up with a successful season this year? Is it too much to hope that we actually win some silverware or end up with European football next year? Probably a bit too early to start getting our hopes up. I will have to keep a low profile though, as most of Crawley labour party seem to support Fulham.
Crawley Town continue to disappoint, losing away to Accrington Stanley, but at least they scored a couple of goals.
