It is nearly May 4th, and thank Trev for that!
After work Jayne and I went out to help Eugene deliver his last few bits in Furnace Green, although he had to spend most of his time appeasing autograph-hunting children, and then we rounded the day off with a campaign meeting to discuss details of polling day and have a general pep talk.
It was, I think, quite a positive meeting and I feel a bit happier about the whole election now. The thing is, by this stage you start to feel that you will just be glad its over and the fact of it being over is more important than how it goes. Or is that just me?
