I love the idea of this.
As part of the 2006 Glasgow Mackintosh Festival there was an attempt to break the world record for “the most people dressed as Charles Rennie Mackintosh”. If I had to guess what the world record was for most people dressed as Charles Rennie Mackintosh I would have guessed low, certainly in single figures, but apparently the previous record was 1,437!
The phrase which really made me wish I lived nearer to Glasgow and had heard about this before the event is this:
Moustaches and cravats will be available for everyone on the day
