Feedback from yesterday's interview is encouraging. I have a good feeling about this.
The girl from our internal mobility office called today and I had that moment where I didn't know if I wanted to hear the news. It turned out she had not spoken to the other side but was asking me for feedback on how I thought it went, so I wasn't going to be put out of my misery right away.
Later on she called back and it sounds like the other side are as positive about it as I am. The downside is that I should have had a chat with their HR department beforehand to go over practical elements like conditions, pay, pensions, etc. but they skipped that bit.
Reading between the lines I think they are in a position where they don't know exactly how to go about making an offer if they want to whilst still following all the right procedures. I get the impression they need to fill the vacancy quickly so one way or another its not going to drag out too long.
As a precaution I shall keep everything crossed.

Best of luck. Hope blogging about it doesn’t cause any problems.

Well.. if they have a problem with someone saying publicly how much they would want to work for them they are not such an employer of choice as I thought! (Not that they are explicitly identified anyway)
