Whenever I see news stories about cuddly-Cameron and how the Tories are now totally different from the old nasty party which persuaded many of us to join the Labour party and whenever I see yet another apology from call-me-Dave intended to make today’s Tory party appear to be a different one to the one which almost sank the economy (with Cameron advising the Chancellor) or the one which lost the last election (with a manifesto written by Cameron) I can’t help remembering that line from the film The Usual Suspects:
The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist.
