I am not overly obsessed with visitor statistics – every package seems to come up with a different answer and I’m not sure that any of them are right. Besides that I don’t know whether to be interested in hits, pageloads, unique visitors or what, and even they are influenced by the time interval used to decide whether a visitor is unique or not.
Anyway, with that caveat, this blog passed a significant arbitrary milestone today when the hit counter ticked over to 50,000 page loads since I started using the Statcounter facility. So hip-hip-hooray and hello to visitor No. 50,000 who was from Canada.
