Anyone who wants to give me a kicking should form a queue. I will be at the front waiting to kick myself.
On Monday I bought another weekly season ticket and was so chuffed about it being two pounds cheaper than last year, despite the much-heralded price rises, that it was not until today I realised that I did not need to buy a ticket on Monday.
I forgot that last week had a public holiday so I didn’t start travelling to work until Tuesday, so I did myself out of a day’s travel.
