All the normal people at work have plans for the weekend. The younger ones might be out clubbing tonight, others might be going out for a meal. Over the weekend there will be shopping trips, family days out, going to the football, etc.
I spent tonight stuffing 750 letters into 750 envelopes, and will spend Saturday and Sunday putting letters, newsletters and leaflets through doors, and might even be asking total strangers about their voting preferences.
I pretend to be too busy to join in when everyone talks about their weekend…
