I was prepared for the worst today, but hoped Sheffield would do us a favour. What I wasn’t prepared for was West Ham doing the double over Man Utd. (Having already beaten Arsenal home and away)
What a finish to the season though – eleven games without a win and then seven wins from the last 9 games and going from 8 points clear at the bottom to three places clear by the end.
I expect Curbishley will celebrate by taking a stroll across the nearest lake…

What a result and snap on the post title!

Well done – I’ve always had a ‘soft spot’ for West ‘Am – ever since the Ron Greenwood days.

I have to say, I was hoping for a Man U comeback to make it more interesting (not because I wanted you to go down, but at least finish below us), but as far as I can see the right team went down in the end.
Always had a soft spot for Wigan, you see.
(now, wait for the Blades to appeal the WHU fine and ask for a points deductions – 3 would do it…).

Since Fulham only won 8 games all season you should just be glad you stayed up!

Yeah, but we drew LOADS!

I’ve been working in the back of storemost of today with the radio on – talk about vultures gathering! Or maybe bad losers sulking? Mind you, having spent 3 days there at a new store opening (and having a rugby mad colleague at work who was willing to root for the Hammers for me) I also have a soft spot for Wigan….Sorry about Sheffield – I know Rob went to university there but to be frank, he doesn’t give a damn about football…
