There are a few notable anniversaries this week: at Old Trafford Christiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez both celebrate their birthdays on Tuesday while over the other side of Manchester Sven does the same. It is also the 20th anniversary of the first Red Nose Day – so Alex Ferguson gets a look-in too.
Other birthdays in the week are Axl Rose, Rick Astley, Jimmy Tarbuck, Bob Marley, Eddie Izzard, Chris Rock, John Gresham and Holly Johnson. On top of all that, on Tuesday I will have been in my new job for a whole year.
It doesn’t seem like a year, but it really is. Its going well so far. A whole year with not one day off sick, and not forgetting my security pass once. After 12 months in the same job I am on my 3rd desk and 3rd boss, so its quite easy to not get into a boring routine with so much change all the time.
Haven’t you forgetten another birthday this week….. Just because I’m younger than you doesn’t mean you can forget me! : – )

Remembering to post it though… that’s the challenge.
Present arrived safe and sound – had been left with a neighbour a day or so ago but he only just caught us in today. Looking forward to giving it a test run if the weather continues to hold!

Either an indoor picnic or we could try to recreate that photo of you, me and Mary trying to have a picnic in the garden with our teddies one February day in the late 60’s….. (Don’t know where I’d get the interesting headgear!)
