The Crawley Observer gave almost a page to Ted Rogers this week and today’s Guardian featured an obituary in it’s ‘Other Lives’ section. What a great idea that feature is because it gives space to recognise the lives of those who were perhaps not known widely beyond a specific area or community of shared interests but every bit as deserving of mention.
Next week, on Thursday, there are two AGMs on the same day for organisations that Ted was not only a founding member of but still actively involved in: Crawley CND and the Crawley Campaign Against Racism. I hope that both meetings see a few new faces and pick up some new members to fill the gap they both have now.
