Yesterday I took some photos for a friend’s sister’s wedding. There was no official photographer and they asked if I would take some pictures as a favour because they know I enjoy photography. I did try to explain that enjoying something is not the same as being good at it, but still got persuaded to […]

Thursday’s light dusting of snow merely made me get to work about 2 minutes later than normal. Traffic was very light and it was only the need to drive a bit slower than normal which held us up. Everyone else seemed to be able to get in OK as well. Even Chrystal’s school was open […]

One of the least original things to say must be to comment on how ridiculous it is that in a country which experiences winter every year, and has done for as long as anyone can remember, our services just can’t cope. The only thing more predictable than the fact that it will get cold at […]

Boy is it windy out there tonight! In the time I have lived in Crawley I have noticed that it seems to be very prone to winds. When its not windy, its likely to be foggy. It must have taken a real genius to decide that its the ideal place for Britain’s second-busiest airport!

Heavy weather

With all the kids away at various places today, Jayne and I went down to the Hawth to visit the International Mela. It got a good bit of publicity yesterday on the BBC South-East news, but it wasn’t the same vibe as last year. Partly this is because we went without any children, but a […]
