Our central heating appears to be not working very well.
I just noticed tonight that it was a bit cold in the living room and found that, although the heating was on full, there was no heat at all in the radiators. I tried bleeding them but they didn’t need that. All the valves seem to be open too. We did have a chap visit on Saturday to replace a knob on the boiler and he had left the thermostat turned down, but Jayne had spotted that earlier and turned it up – but even that wouldn’t leave radiators stone cold.
I’m baffled, but one of the advantages of living in a rented place is that I do not have to work out what is wrong, and then worry about how to fix it: we just call the landlords and let them sort it out. If they ever stop putting us on hold for 30 minutes at a time.
